Anita worked at Coram, managing child rights research and evaluation projects in the International team. The projects included a research study on Gender-Based Violence in and around schools in Zambia and an evaluation of the Law on Child Protection in Mongolia, both commissioned by UNICEF.
Prior to this, Anita has worked for an international development consultancy, where she supported maternal and child health programmes in Nigeria and Kenya, as well as, with the Refugee Council, supporting separated migrant children on the age dispute project in Birmingham.
Anita is currently completing an MA in Education, Gender and International Development, where she has explored the intersections of gender, race and education in promoting social inclusion.
When she’s not working or studying, Anita enjoys reading books written by women of colour and lifting heavy in the gym.
