Belinda joined What Works for Children’s Social Care in January 2020. Her role is to ensure that social work practice remains at the heart of the organisation’s work; collaborating with the sector to make research and evidence-informed practice more accessible.
Belinda brings over twenty years’ experience as a practitioner and a manager to WWCSC. Belinda has worked as a Children’s Guardian for Cafcass, in quality assurance as an Independent Reviewing Officer and Child Protection Chair and as a therapist at the Early years parenting unit at the Anna Freud Centre. Belinda has a keen interest in relational practice, evidence-based assessments and sharing ideas from allied professions to inform and improve social work practice.
Belinda loves to cook and go for long walks. She also subscribes to far too many podcasts.
