Priya’s role is to support the communications activity at the Centre. She is responsible for promoting WWCSC’s findings through different platforms to a wide range of audiences, as well as coordinating engagement events.
Prior to joining WWCSC, Priya was part of the Communications, Evaluation and Learning Team worked at a charity called People’s Health Trust. She was responsible for creating content to promote the Trust’s grant-funded projects and policy research. Priya also worked as Project and Communications Coordinator at a legal charity based in London and as a Medical Assistant at a Red Cross Hospital in Japan.
Priya has a Combined Honours degree in Biochemistry and English from the University of Liverpool. She recently graduated with an MA in Art and Science from Central Saint Martins. During this master’s, Priya collaborated with various UK universities on public engagement activities to encourage discourse between the arts and sciences.
She is also a qualified yoga teacher and loves a Lord of the Rings (extended-version) marathon!
