Sara Ortiz is an experienced social worker currently working as the Senior Policy and Research Advisor for TACT, the largest fostering charity in the UK. Sara has been practising social work for many years, back in her home country Spain and for the past eleven years in the UK, focusing on statutory child protection and looked after children. She coordinated the first edition of ‘Language that cares’ and she is also a practice educator. Sara has a passion for relationship-based social work and making sure that the voices of children and young people are listened to. Outside work, she is a keen climber and loves the outdoors and pottering around a good campfire.
