Ella is a Qualitative Research Associate at WWCSC, she leads on the implementation and process evaluation for the Safeguarding Families, Protecting Children programme.
Ella’s MA involved a research project analysing the attitudes of care workers to children who go missing from residential care, pursuing her interest in the emotional responses of professionals involved in the care of looked after children. She continues to have a keen interest in the responses and perceptions of professionals working with vulnerable children, and a particular interest in the care of young people in residential children’s homes.
Ella has an MA in Child’s Studies from King’s College London, and prior to WWCSC spent 4 years working as a Senior Support Worker in a North London Children’s home. In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking and long walks with family and friends.
