We are recruiting for three new roles to grow our team:
Practice Development Manager
This role will engage with social workers and the wider sector, supporting local authorities to develop evidence mindedness and evidence readiness, and play a leading role in our “Practice in Need of Evidence” programme, building capacity and evidence around promising practice developed by practitioners.
Deadline: 12pm 7th October
Join us on a short term contract or secondment to undertake the analysis for one local authority, based in London. You will be able to build on and further develop an existing code base from analysis at two local authorities so far, and you will be supported remotely by WWCSC’s Data Science Manager. The project will feed into an overall report, evaluating the technical feasibility of predictive models, which will be published in Spring 2020.

Head of Practice (maternity cover)
We are looking for a qualified social worker to advise the Executive Director and other senior executives on issues in children’s social care and on how best to engage the sector, and to ensure that WWCSC’s decisions are attuned to the sector. The post holder will build and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the sector and assist with the design, management and delivery of the Centre’s range of products and services aimed at boosting sector capability, motivation and opportunity to adopt evidence-based practice.
