Amar Alam

Research Associate

Amar holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology from UCL. His MSc research project investigated the impact of a film based intervention on attitudes and stigma towards individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Having worked over 10 years with vulnerable young people through a leading children’s welfare charity, Amar is passionate about using research as a tool to empower the most vulnerable groups in society. He has also consulted on policy issues affecting ethnic minorities in the UK using evidence-based research.

Amar enjoys travelling, cooking, hiking and regards himself as a film enthusiast.
