Beth is a Practice Development Manager within the Practice Team, and has joined What Works on secondment from Coventry City Council. Her most recent role was within the Reunification Team, supporting children and young people in Local Authority care to return safely to the care of their families. Beth has a range of experience across children’s social care, including safeguarding and leaving care services.

Beth studied History and Drama at Bath Spa University, before going on to gain a Masters in Social Work from Durham University. Beth is a registered social worker and Practice Educator. She feels passionately about social work values and relationship based practice.

When not at work, Beth enjoys cooking, walks in the countryside and being near the sea.
