David joined What Works for Children’s Social Care in September 2021. In his role as a Research Associate, his work involves using mixed methods to help understand the impact of children’s social care interventions, as well as broader national policy, on outcomes for children and families.
Before joining the team, David worked as a policy analyst in the areas of education, housing, and prevention services for the United States federal government, state governments, and foundations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a master’s degree in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford.
Outside of work, David enjoys playing musical instruments, learning languages, and trying to make less of a mess in the kitchen.
