The Institute for Employment Studies is an independent, apolitical, international centre of research and consultancy in employment policy and human resource management. We bring a diverse range of research and evaluation experience centred on children, young people and families, in education (early years to post-16 and into adult education) as well as in the community and work with relevant bodies including education and training providers, skills councils, local government and charities and foundations. We are highly experienced in the design and delivery of all types of evaluation methodologies including randomised controlled trials (RCTs); quasi-experimental designs (QED); critical realist approaches; and undertaking cost-benefit and return-on-investment (ROI) and Social ROI assessments.
