Riikka Hofmann

Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor, University of Cambridge

Having studied in Finland and Germany, Dr Hofmann completed her PhD in Cambridge as Gates scholar. She leads a research group investigating effective professional development and sustained change in professional practice in educational and healthcare settings. Dr Hofmann is steering group member of the Cambridge Educational Dialogue Research Group (CEDiR) and Deputy Masters Programme leader at her Faculty, and works with research groups in Scandinavia, Germany, Netherlands and Mexico. As expert member of the cross-Whitehall Policy Trials Advice Panel and the Strategy group of Cambridge Postgraduate Medical Centre, she regularly advises the Cabinet office, Government departments, the NHS and other public sector organisations on research-informed development and evaluation.
