Sherry Malik has over 30 years experience of leading and managing a diverse portfolio in statutory and voluntary settings in both executive and non executive roles. She has recently stepped down as Director of Childrens services at the NSPCC after 6 years and held executive director roles at LB Hounslow, GSCC, and Cafcass. her non executive roles include vice chair of Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital Trust, and she was founding chair of Essex Cares Ltd. She is currently a non executive director of Dimensions UK, a large national learning disability charity, where she also chairs the quality and practice committee.
Sherry is committed to working with families and individuals within the context of their local communities. She believes in the need to give every child a great start in life and in promoting Independence and community resilience and has always strived to work creatively with other professionals to find solutions.
