Soraya supports the development and delivery of What Works for Children’s Social Care programmes, which aim to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Prior to WWCSC, she was a Project Manager at Innovate UK and Nesta supporting the delivery of a range of data science projects. In addition to this, she has held roles at the University of York and Imperial College London where she was responsible for coordinating research activities in mathematical modelling to support scientific decision making in response to the HIV epidemic.
Soraya holds a BSc in Biomedical Science from King’s College London and a MSc in Health, Community and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Outside of work, Soraya enjoys reading, hiking and cooking.
