My name is Steven Hawksworth, I am a social worker for Wakefield Council Children in Care Service. I have experience of being in the care system in Calderdale from the ages of 7-18 in a foster care placement. My passion is to assist in improving educational outcomes for looked after children. I am undertaking a Education Doctorate at Sheffield University  with a focus on positive educational pathways for care experienced people within a qualitative stance.
